I was watching the Oscars like everyone else last night. A bunch of people from Hollywood that I have never heard from for the most part, getting awards for jobs I don't understand, and using their time in the spotlight to tell me I am evil for putting cream in my coffee. And yet...I never miss the Oscars. Or the red carpet. I enjoy it. One award that the Grammys have that the Oscars don't is "Best New Artist" and my goodness I think we should give it to Thai Elsa. She graced the screen at the 1:49 mark of that video and I gasped. She should play a Disney Princess. She is one. I thought I made a major discovery. Some new bright shining star who was about to take the world by storm. I googled and guess what...my dumb American brain just forgot how many Asians are in the world. Gam Wichayanee already has 1,400,000+ followers on instagram. 30 years old. Huge mega-star. Gam Wichanayee says Hello to America from the other side.
